The 'fairytale' inspires many, the dream is re-created through architecture, fashion, and decor. I have been inspired by the idea of fairytales and have created a collection of images to follow this post. Like most girls we all love fairytales and hold dreams of our own. Enjoy x
To follow from the last blog I would like to dedicate a few words to the lady which I believe to be the "Supermum", Angelina Jolie. Beautiful and talented Angelina tops the A-listers for me for many reasons. She is a woman of worth, a lady of honour who has always been different from the rest. Among the famous she stands out alone as a true star that shines her rays upon the those in need. Her dedication to charity work is outstanding and admirable. Her rainbow family is one that I envy. Being a moviestar isn't just what she is about, her priorities are her husband and children and dedication to helping others. She uses her status as a way of promoting her charity work.
"I'm not excited about going to a film set."At the same time I know that by doing a film and making money and remaining in the public eye, I'm able to fund more programs and I'm able to bring more attention. So I know I have to do both." - Angelina Jolie, FemaleFirst, 2005
Angelina is my idol and I respect her Life and Style.
I have always considered myself to be highly ambitious and totally career-minded. So eager was I to be a success in my field (pr & events) no matter how much blood, sweat and tears it took. Yet here I am a graduate with great industry experience and a round belly! What have I done I find myself asking from time to time, yes it was all planned (I am old enough post-25!) But have I made the right strategical decision? Have I given up on the prospect of a great career in the world of fashion and marketing for a life with baby? The answer changes again from time to time (it most be the pregnancy hormones). One day I feel in dismay, nothing to do, no urgent calls to be made, no work, no career booo hooo! Then on the otherhand I smugley think of the thought of being what they call a "yummy mummy" still young, attractive (I hope) and full of life! But it isn't about this or that, it's about opportunity and utilising every single one. It is about being positive and knowing that a balance can be found where one can achieve both success in a career and home life. I guess in the end it is all about being a mother and doing your utmost best.
